Good news friends...I passed the class (Barely)! I was able to pull off a 77% in the class, so I will graduate after all with my bachelor's degree AND start in my master's program in January.
It's an understatement to say that I am 100% relieved.
Anyways, I am at my friends house, watching her sister while she's at work. I don't know if you remember a few months ago when I posted about donating money to help my friend's sister? She was diagnosed this summer with an autoimmune disease that affects her brain. I can't remember what it's called, but it's basically left her a child in an adults body. This summer she got very sick, with high fevers and was basically in a coma for a couple of months. She had to go through lots of physical therapy. She can talk but doesn't make a lot of sense. It's almost as if she had a stroke.
She has to re-learn everything. But what's worse is she could recover and have the same thing happen again.
It's very sad.
It's amazing what you take for granted...the little everyday things.
On a happier note...I'm giving away ad space at Sabje's Blog. There's lots of great prizes to win...check it out!
