Insanity Day #13: 2-week Fit Test

Okay, let's recap my weekend. Friday I attended my Insanity class and did the Cardio Power and Resistance work-out and for some reason, it kicked my ass. I felt way stronger the last time I did it. Also, during the work-out I twisted my knee wrong while doing suicides. I was able to power through but my knee was throbbing by the end. When I woke up Saturday it was even more painful and slightly swollen so I took the day off. Luckily, after motrin and some ice, it felt much better and I was back at it today.

I felt bad for missing a work-out, but I would miss many more if I made my knee any worse. 

Sunday, I was going to go to the gym to work-out to make up for Saturday but I received some bad news. Early Sunday morning my cousin passed away unexpectedly. Needless to say, I wasn't in the mood to go to the gym.

Today, we did the fit test. Honestly, I did better than the first fit test but it still kicked my ass. Here's how I did:

I did quite a bit better but it still kicked my ass. And I just looked at the calendar for tomorrow. Plyo. Damn it.

  1. What is Insanity?! It looks intense! I have been going to the gym and doing my own thing a bit, but I like getting the most out of my workout time and sometimes I just end up cross-training/treadmill and that's it.
